Greetings! Welcome to this space. My hope for this blog is to provide a space where black women can share a different perspective on marriage than what is portrayed in the media today. Reality shows have taken the airways by storm. Popular housewife shows are commonly portraying black women in a negative light. On the Pro-athlete wives shows, many of the women are rarely wives and some if not most of the marriages end in divorce before the second season can even be aired. Is this the image of black marriage we want portrayed around the world? Some say this is "real". I beg to differ. This blog will highlight real black married women around the country and possible the globe. We will share our struggles, our trials, our lessons, our stories. This small glimpse into our lives will offer real advice and real testimonies. This blog, God willing, will give sound advice for our single sisters and give comfort for our married sisters through shared sisterhood. Please keep reading and subscribe.
