Lola was born and raised in California. She is a mother of two and has been married for 4 years. She has a degree in Liberal Arts. Her writing has been published in an internationally distributed newspaper and she will be putting out a book of poetry in the near future. 


We Are One

My half is subtle and sweet
Your half is stern and discreet
Together,our halves make a whole that's complete
We are one

My presence is gentle and soft
Your presence is clean and toff
Together,our presence creates a balance aloft
We are one

My goal is to console and confide
Your goal is to protect and provide 
Together, our goals create a love that we abide
We are one

My heart is  yours to cherish and gird
Your heart is deeper than the depths of words
Together,our hearts is a vow sung amongst birds
We are one

I reflect you as you reflect me
Husband and wife,what a team we can be
We are two that forms one in unity
We are one
